Our Norway "Winter Wonderland" adventure in January 2026 was spectacular! My husband and I depended on Andreas to guide us to different locations over a period of seventeen days in order to experience various landscapes and scenery, cultures, and activities. This was invaluable because they were all so different. Between dinner cruises, dog sledding in the polar night, seeing the jaw-dropping Aurora Borealis many nights, feasting on king crab just pulled out of the water, visiting the frigid and magnificent Igloo Hotel, feeding reindeer, and much more—we were overwhelmed with the beauty and sheer fun of Norway in the winter. Andreas was nothing short of amazing. My whole family from age 11 to 79 had a great time. He made sure the elders has a comfortable a safe adventure even with there mobility challenges and made sure the 11 year olds could have the adventure they craved. The children took there shoes off and waded in the glacier water, zip lined from a mountain top and had a great time hiking. The elders of the group enjoyed a troll car ride up towards the glacier and a nice covered area to wait while the more mobile part to the group hiked. We all enjoyed an beautiful ride of the sky lift and the elders had a nice place to watch their grandkids zip line. All the while Andreas gave us local food, and treats, and told us the most interesting bits about the area. I can not imagine a better guide for such a large age group. He masterfully made sure that each age group was taken care of. Thank you!

This was absolutely our favorite excursion of our whole cruise to Norway. This was due, in large part, to our guide Andreas. He had a wealth of information about the Olden since he had lived near the area. His contacts with the locals, his passion for Norway and the breathtaking views were all top notch. We were greeted with a comfortable vehicle and given personal attention even to the smallest details such as a treat once we reached the top of the hike to the glacier. Andreas was very accomodating and communicated well the history and stories of Olden. Thank you Andreas. Thinking of the tour of Olden still brings a huge smile to my face. Also, the waffles with sour cream and jam was great.

This tour was beyond fabulous. Between Andreas as our guide and the scenery of the Briksdal glacier and atop the Loen Lift, our day with Andreas couldn't have been better. He is very personable, easy to converse with and will provide you with so much more information than you would get on a group tour. Andreas also provided us with a nice lunch of some Norwegian food items and beer. The day flew by and we were sorry that it had to end. I can't recommend this tour and guide enough.

This was a great tour for our family including 2 teenage girls. Andreas was an excellent tour guide that provided great information, great locations and made this a very memorable tour. This was our favorite tour on our Southampton to Reykjavik cruise. We prefer the smaller group tours and Andreas definitely provided the extras that should go with that. This was also the most expensive tour we took and may not be in everyone's budgets, but we decided to do it anyway. I do think it was little bit overpriced but definitely recommend if you can splurge.
